The new Alexandre C models show a redesign of the original style, ushering in a new generation of this watch. Bigger sizes - at 40mm for men – create depth and volume on the timepiece. A larger dial and inclined bezel is both eye-catching and demonstrates Charriol’s watchmaking expertise and attention to details. Made in Switzerland, the watches are crafted from stainless steel, featuring the iconic twisted cable straps that Charriol is renowned for the world over. This technical grade steel is supple, comfortable as well as highly unique. The men’s styles all feature the distinctive Charriol logo around the bezel. On the dial, quartz models display polished torsade indexes or four Roman figures and eight indexes, set on a silver sun-brushed guilloché dial. Encircling the dial is a very fine twisted cable, another reference to Charriol’s cable hallmark. Automatic models include a sporty version with a Clou de Paris pattern on the dial, accented by stylish blued steel hands and indexes. This is offset with a crown embellished with a fine cable and a transparent blue cabochon revealing the Charriol insignia. All models display a date counter at 4 o’clock and the Charriol stamp at 12 o’clock. Automatic variants are instantly recognized by their special seconds hand, which is delicately worked with a cut-away Charriol insignia.
