Laura Crane

And now, back to Nazare, to meet the wonderful Laura Crane. 
This spring, Laura became the first British woman to surf the formidable wave at Nazare, famously discovered by our squad leader, Garrett McNamara. Laura began surfing as a young girl, picking up sponsorships and championships around the world as a teenager. After a brief stint away from the sport, she returned with a new hunger and began to train for tow surfing, reaching the Nazare zenith with signature grit and prowess. 

Laura is poised and clever, determined and spirited. She speaks with heart and clear-eyes on the many challenges that face female athletes. I was moved to hear her talk about what a sanctuary she has found in the ocean, and am so proud to see her sporting our Navigator Collection. It’s an honor to have made a watch that can keep up with you.
