Coralie Charriol
Vice-President of the Philippe Charriol Group

OPEN MIND

As the daughter of Philippe Charriol, founder of the CHARRIOL brand, Coralie has inherited from her father a decided taste for luxury goods and for travel. Not content with crisscrossing the globe for his work, he also visited the four corners of the Earth during his vacations, taking his children with him as they were growing up. By the age of 16, Coralie had discovered 26 countries, and by 28, she had trod the soil of every continent except for South America.

This experience has given Coralie an open-minded attitude and a capacity to approach every culture without prejudice. These are major assets in exercising her profession. She is also able to communicate in five languages, which also helps her international business ambitions!

Coralie has dedicated the past seven years to working full-time at CHARRIOL both from the headquarters in Geneva and in Hong Kong. Before reaching her thirtieth birthday, she has earned the title of corporate Vice President, and in 2005 was named CHARRIOL's Creative Director for jewelry and leather goods. Based in New York with her husband, she has continued to spend more than half of the year traveling for business to Geneva, Hong Kong and China, Japan, the Middle East, and the Caribbean.

REVERSAL
Prior to her 20th birthday, Coralie had no intention of joining CHARRIOL. She was instead preparing for a career related to the arts by studying art history at Tufts University. As luck would have it, she had to create accessories for a design class that was part of her curriculum. She chose to design bags that her father then decided to produce as the "Coralie" collection, and she was entrusted with promoting these products in Asia. Her enthusiasm for this experience diverted her from her initial path, and she became interested in working in the advertising industry after finishing at Tufts.

After a few months' hesitation, Coralie joined the family business in Geneva to handle public relations. She soon seized the opportunity to oversee jewelry design. The project involved creating a collection of wedding rings for the Japanese market, and this "Coralie" collection and its corresponding promotional campaign were extremely successful.

In overseeing the design, manufacturing and marketing of a collection, Coralie had clearly found her vocation!? Over the past several years, circumstances have led Coralie to renew the leatherwoods lines and the jewelry collections. In doing so, her primary purpose is to rejuvenate the brand and doubtless to continue cultivating "the art of living differently" that is dear to her father and to the brand. Youthful, dynamic and determined, Coralie takes her mission very much to heart, and the result has been a series of successful collections based on Coralie's passion for CHARRIOL's unique approach to the luxury goods industry!

AMBASSADRESS
In 2005, Coralie Charriol has also become the Charriol ambassadress. Her personality shines out from the visuals of the new advertising campaign.

The brand felt the need to convey its "lifestyle" identity and to appeal to emotions. With Coralie, it has found an image that matches its aspirations and radiates exceptional authenticity, especially given Coralie's connection to the brand and her involvement in its designs. The success of the previous promotional campaigns for the "Coralie" collection removed any doubts that might have proved an obstacle to this new initiative.

Since 10 years, Coralie is following her father’s steps in the promotion and representation of the CHARRIOL brand, she is the charm ambassadress close to the international press and the distribution network.
